Genshin Impact: Glider | How to Glide

Gliding in Genshin Impact is a mechanic that makes this game so distinguishable from the other RPGs. Not that any of the other RPGs don’t have a flying mechanic, but Genshin Impact is unique.

Gliding through this world will help you progress through the game faster and with much less effort. Since the world is amazingly enormous, a glider is a must if you want to travel through it.

Nevertheless, some players have issues with gliding and obtaining a glider. That’s why we will tell you exactly how to glide in Genshin Impact.

How to Glide – Genshing Impact

Unlocking a glider will be straightforward since it is obtainable by a story quest. So, if you are already following the story-line, then chances are you will get one pretty soon.

This is when you reach Mondstadt. You will interact with Amber, who will join your squad and will give you the City of Freedom quest.

She will inform you about various attacks on the city and tell you stories about its history. Once you reach the top of the town, she will give you a glider and ask you to get to a particular area.

How to glide in Genshin Impact:

  1. When you are ready, jump off.
  2. Immediately after jumping, tap the glide button. This will open your mighty wings.
  3. Next, you will have to control your glider.

Don’t worry about messing up your gliding and not reaching the required area, since it doesn’t affect the mission at hand.

After successful completion, you will have a wind glider! If you want to change your wings’ appearance, you will have to wait until you get the Dragon Storm quest.

After the said quest, you can choose from a few different gliders in the wardrobe tab in the Character Menu. Good luck and fly safe!
